Operations Manager - Planned Maintenance
We are seeking an Operations Manager - Planned Maintenance to work with a Local Authority in Cambridgeshire. This role sits within the Housing Assets team and is responsible for leading the delivery of planned maintenance, capital investment, retrofit, adaptations, and asset management programmes across the Council''s housing stock. Reports to: Services Manager - Housing Assets Location: Cambridgeshire (Hybrid) Start: ASAP Duration: 6 Months+ Rate: Negotiable Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the Council''s Planned Maintenance service, ensuring works are programmed, delivered, and monitored effectively Oversee planned maintenance contracts, capital investment programmes, retrofit projects, aids and adaptations, and specialist property-related projects Manage and develop a multi-disciplinary team including Surveyors, Adaptations Surveyor, Lands Officer, and Retrofit Officers Lead on procurement, tendering, and contract management in accordance with financial regulations and standing orders Manage budgets, forecasting, financial appraisals, and programme performance reporting Ensure Decent Homes compliance and support the long-term sustainability of the housing stock Oversee stock condition data, asset management planning, and the delivery of the Council''s 5-Year Maintenance Programme Lead on leaseholder works, Section 20 consultations, service charges, and Party Wall matters Ensure all health and safety requirements are met throughout the contract lifecycle Manage ..... full job details .....
