Operations Manager

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager to join our client’s team.  
Job duties and responsibilities: 

• Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role will manage the day-to-day operation to ensure effective management of the budget, efficiency and service standards of 

the total operation. 

• Manage all aspects of performance to ensure compliance with agreed KPIs. 

• Responsible for QSHE and all legal compliance within the operation. 

• To play a vital role in shaping the culture and approach of the workforce and supporting and  

developing the team through leading, coaching and communicating – facilitating a focus on  
business excellence and continuous improvement of operational efficiency and customer  
service standards. 

• Develop a culture of continuous improvement with a methodology to support business  

efficiency, KPI targets and cost reduction requirements.
The ideal candidate will have: 

• Experience in managing employee relations and customer/trading relations. 

• Exposure to operating within a commercial environment sufficient to develop effective customer service and commercial understanding. 

• People management and line management experience. 

• Working knowledge of Health and Safety and Legal compliance. 

• Ability to present and communicate effectively 

• Excellent organisational skills and strong interpersonal skills 

• Excellent management, written and verbal communication and influencing skills 

• Team working and customer focused attitude. 

• Excellent financial acumen and commercial awareness. 

• An excellent level of IT literacy. 

• Management warehouse systems experience 

 
Conditions: 

• Mon- Fri 0800-1600 (flexibility required for operational adjustments) 

• Salary: £50,388.00 

• Weekly or monthly pay available 

• Flexible approach to working hours, including covering holidays and absence when required 

 
To be eligible you need: 

• NO unspent convictions and be able to pass a basic Criminal Record Check/Disclosure (DBS check) 

• Ability to provide 3 years referencing contacts and have been resident in the UK for the last 5 years. 

• The right to work in the UK
