Salary: -55k - -60k
Hours: Full time, permanent - Monday to Thursday 7.30am-4.00pm, Friday 7.30am-1.00pm (37.5 hours per week)

About the Company
Our client is an established engineering and manufacturing business delivering bespoke products and services to customers across a range of industries.
With design, engineering, fabrication and manufacturing capabilities under one roof, the business is continuing to grow and is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join its senior team.
About the Role
You''ll take responsibility for the day-to-day running and continued improvement of the manufacturing operation, working closely with senior management and department heads to ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently, on time and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading day-to-day manufacturing and operational activities
- Managing production planning, capacity and resource utilisation
- Monitoring KPIs and driving continuous improvement
- Improving efficiency and resolving production issues
- Working closely with QHSE to maintain quality and safety standards
- Managing operational budgets and identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Leading, motivating and developing production and workshop teams
- Supporting operational strategy and future business growth
About You
We''re looking for an experienced Operations Manager, Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager or similar, although an experienced Supervisor ready for the next step will also be considered.
You''ll ideally have:
- Manufacturing or engineering experience
- Proven experience managing teams
- Strong production planning and problem-solving skills
- Experience improving operational performance
- Commercial and budget awareness
- Strong leadership and communication skills
Desirable: NEBOSH/IOSH, Lean Six Sigma, engineering/manufacturing qualifications and knowledge of ISO standards.
