Operations Manager
My Client is seeking an experienced and driven Operations Manager to lead and coordinate activities across three sites within the Leicester area. This is a high-profile leadership position responsible for ensuring operational excellence, driving continuous improvement, maintaining compliance standards, and developing high-performing teams reporting directly into the General Manager.

Description
- Provide leadership and operational oversight across three Leicester-based sites (1 Main site, 2 smaller)
- Drive a strong health, safety, environmental and compliance culture.
- Manage operational teams to achieve business objectives.
- Ensure all sites operate efficiently, meeting KPIs for productivity, quality, service and cost.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead workforce planning, resource allocation and succession planning activities.
- Monitor budgets, operational expenditure and financial performance.
- Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory, environmental and company standards.
- Produce operational reports and present performance updates to senior management.
- Support growth initiatives, new projects and operational change programmes.
Profile
I''m looking for a commercially minded operations professional who combines strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach to managing multi-site Operations.
- Proven experience in an Operations Manager, General Manager or Multi-Site Management role.
- You will ideally be from a Waste/ Waste Management / Heavy Industry background
- Experience managing operational teams across multiple locations.
- Strong understanding of health, safety and environmental compliance.
- Demonstrable experience delivering operational improvements and achieving KPIs.
- Excellent people leadership, coaching and performance management skills.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen.
- Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.
