MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting an experienced and hands-on Operations Manager to lead our client''s manufacturing operation and drive performance across safety, quality, delivery, people, and continuous improvement.This is a key role within a fast-paced 24/7 manufacturing environment, requiring a visible leader who enjoys being on the production floor, developing teams, and delivering operational excellence.The role:Leading daily manufacturing operations to ensure customer orders are delivered safely, on time, and within budgetDriving a strong safety-first culture across all departments and shiftsLeading, coaching, and developing operational teams to achieve high performanceImproving operational efficiency through lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiativesManaging KPIs, operational planning, and performance improvement projectsWorking closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Sales teamsSupporting employee engagement, succession planning, and talent developmentMaintaining a strong presence across day, night, and weekend shifts as requiredSupporting customer satisfaction by resolving operational or quality issues professionally and effectivelySuccessful candidate:You will be a proven operations manager with experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, delivering results through strong leadership and operational improvement.You will ideally have:5+ years'' experience in an Operations Management/ Production Management role ..... full job details .....
