Operations Manager

ManpowerGroup are working with a client based in Bradford who are trusted and established name in the Commercial Construction sector, known for delivering high-quality results across a wide range of sites and sectors. As their business continues to grow, our client is looking for a proactive and highly organised Operations Manager to join their team and help drive projects forward on a full-time permanent basis.

The role:
Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum
Full Time Monday- Friday
Office-based role with regular, meaningful on-site involvement

Role Overview:
As Operations Manager, you''ll play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day running of multiple active groundwork sites. This is a hands-on position where your presence on-site will be just as important as your office-based responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate operations across multiple active groundwork sites
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure compliance, and support site teams
• Manage procurement processes, project documentation, and schedules
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery
• Uphold and enforce Health andamp; Safety standards, fostering a safety-first culture

Experience:

• Experience in operations, site management, or project coordination (ground works or construction preferred)
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills
• Knowledge of procurement systems and Health andamp; Safety procedures
• Full UK driving licence (essential due to travel requirements)
• Estimating experience is advantageous but not essential
