Operations Manager

We''re working with a growing electrical contractor based in Worksop that is looking to appoint an Operations Manager to work directly alongside the business owner and play a pivotal role in the day-to-day running of the business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an electrical background who enjoys variety and wants to be involved in both operational management and project delivery. The successful candidate will act as the owner''s right-hand person, supporting everything from planning and coordination to project management and business operations. Initially, the role will be split across operational support, project coordination and office management duties. As the business continues to grow and secure additional work, the role will naturally develop into a more project-focused position with greater responsibility for managing multiple live projects. The Role Working closely with the business owner, responsibilities will include: Supporting the day-to-day operational management of the business Assisting with the planning, coordination and delivery of electrical projects Producing project plans, programmes and schedules Liaising with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and site teams Managing project documentation and progress reporting Assisting with procurement and resource planning Coordinating labour requirements and project timelines Monitoring ongoing works and ensuring projects remain on track Attending client and site meetings where required ..... full job details .....
