Role Overview The Operations Manager will lead all day-to-day site operations, ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective management of production, warehousing, and distribution. This role is key to improving performance, supporting growth, and maintaining high service standards. Key Responsibilities Oversee production, machining, warehousing, and dispatch operations Ensure on-time delivery and efficient production scheduling Manage stock control, supply coordination, and material yield Lead logistics and transport performance Maintain health and safety compliance and promote best practice Manage, develop, and motivate operational teams Monitor KPIs, control costs, and drive continuous improvement Skills and Experience Essential Experience in operations or production management Background in manufacturing or industrial environments Strong leadership and organisational skills Knowledge of warehouse and logistics operations Understanding of health and safety requirements Desirable Timber or materials processing experience ERP/WMS system knowledge Lean or continuous improvement experience Key Measures of Success On-time delivery Operational efficiency and output Stock accuracy Health and safety ..... full job details .....
