Artefacts rescued from the site are now showcased in the Gloucester Museum, linking our hotel to this citys multi-layered history. As Gloucester thrives with its diverse industries and culture, Hotel Indigo will become a vibrant part of the citys evolving narrative.As an Operations Manager, your day-to-day will be driven by our Guests needs, however you can expect to cover the following duties and responsibilities (not all encompassing)Making strategic decisions for our outlets

consisting of a Rooftop Bar (with small plates and sharing menu), a-la-carte ground floor Restaurant and Coffee Shop BistroManaging and coaching the Head of Rooms and Food and Beverage Operations Managers, this role will be mostly focussing on our FandB function whilst also spending a proportion of your time on Rooms management activitiesProviding all our guests with an excellent dining and drinking experience through managing our FandB function and ensuring there is a coordinated approach across the teamWorking closely with our Executive Head Chef to develop and design menus, keeping up to date with local dining trendsManaging recruitment and training of the new team, delegating where needed to develop and recruit the best talentControl the finances of our FandB department, working closely with our Finance Team and GM to report on financial performance and always striving to improve efficiencyWe are searching for a true service superstar, someone who thrives in providing our Guests with an excellent service throughout their stay. In addition to this, we are looking for someone who has.Availability to work a variety of shifts throughout the week, including evenings and weekendsExperience working as an Operations Manager within a similar venue would be preferred, having experience with both Bar and Restaurant outlets as well as some rooms experienceStrong people management skills, you will be confident in supporting and developing a large team and have experience with both recruiting and training new startersPassionate about providing excellent experiences for our customers, you will always focus on the needs and wants of our customers and cater our service to new trends within the FandB sectorA lead by example attitude
