Hours: Monday to Friday, Full-Time

The Opportunity
We are recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing and innovative manufacturing business based in Beverley. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to take ownership of a key business unit, overseeing production, warehouse operations, and distribution.

This role would suit someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and is passionate about driving performance, improving processes, and leading high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations across production, warehouse, and distribution
• Ensure production and demand planning aligns with customer requirements
• Monitor and improve performance through KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage production schedules to meet demand forecasts
• Ensure consistent product quality and compliance with standards
• Work closely with procurement and inventory teams to maintain material availability
• Identify and resolve operational and production issues efficiently
• Oversee order fulfilment, dispatch, and delivery processes
• Optimise transport and distribution to improve service levels and reduce costs
• Build and maintain strong relationships with logistics partners and suppliers
• Lead, motivate, and develop operational teams
• Manage staffing levels, training, and performance reviews
• Promote a positive and productive working culture
• Manage budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations

About You

• Proven experience in an Operations Manager, Production Manager, or similar role
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving ability
• Experience working with KPIs and driving continuous improvement
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Experience with warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office
