Operations Manager

We are currently recruiting for an Operations Manager to join our client , a company operating in the FMCG industry, based in Birmingham. 

The Operations Manager will be reporting directly to the Operations Director. 

Job Purpose for the Operations Manager role 

• Manage 24/7 operations to maintain quality assurance and legal compliance. 
• Ensure profitability and promote the company’s image. 
• Uphold customer audit requirements and core company values. 

Operations Manager Main Responsibilities & Duties 

• Oversee day-to-day operations within budget limits and maximize resource use. 
• Provide leadership and motivation to staff for performance improvement. 
• Establish and control the annual budget, ensuring financial targets are met. 
• Maintain customer satisfaction and ensure compliance with legal requirements. 
• Implement cost control measures and lean principles to reduce waste.

Internal and External Relationships

• Manage relationships with Production Managers, Logistics Manager, and Quality Assurance teams.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and third-party agencies as needed. 

The ideal candidate will have food FMCG experience .
