As the Operations Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacture of precision-engineered products while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities for the Operations Manager:
Lead and coordinate activities across Production, Supply Chain, and QHSE.
Work closely with the Production Manager to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products, from CNC machining to assembly and final testing.
Deliver monthly operational KPIs, ensuring accurate reporting and actionable insights.
Drive inventory and stock management strategies to support production efficiency and cost control.
Support the QHSE Manager on the path to ISO9001 certification, ensuring processes, systems, and documentation meet required standards.
Oversee the smooth transfer of new products from R&D into manufacturing.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
Manage facilities maintenance to ensure a safe and effective workplace.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
About You:
Proven experience in an operations role within an electro-mechanical or high-tech manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including CNC machining, electronic & mechanical assembly, and product testing.
Collaborative leadership style, able to inspire cross-functional teams and drive performance through KPIs.
Hands-on experience with ISO9001 quality systems and the implementation of standards.
Track record in lean initiatives, operational excellence, and process improvement.
Experience with ERP systems and stock/materials management.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
HND or Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
Desirable:
Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central.
Experience with ISO14001 and ISO45001 standards.
