Operations Manager

This rapidly expanding, professional organisation is looking for a highly motivated, positive Operations Manager within planning and operations.- Please note, this role pays 50,000 euros

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in planning and optimizing transportation operations, managing the team of drivers and ensuring efficient route planning for approximately 10 vehicles using inhouse software.

This is a fast-moving industry, and the organisation are growing due to the service and delivery offered to their customers, which is first class.

Previous experience within transport, routing and planning is essential however industry background is open.

Good geographical knowledge is essential, especially in Dublin and the rest of Ireland.

Having a professional and approachable attitude is also key as you will be working closely with our team of drivers, warehouse manager, sales and the senior management team.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Have flexibility, able to adapt to last minute changes and deadlines
• Have a problem-solving mindset
• Competent IT skills, Microsoft and routing software

Hours are (phone number removed)pm, however you may need to be on call from 7.30am, taking calls and queries from your team.
