The Role
As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of a multidisciplinary team, delivering a full range of Soft FM services including cleaning, catering, portering, waste management, switchboard, and retail operations. You will play a key role in ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and an exceptional standard of service across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Manage, support and develop a diverse team, fostering a high-performance culture and driving continuous improvement.
- Service Delivery: Ensure all Soft FM services are delivered to the highest standard, in line with KPIs, SLAs, and regulatory requirements.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with NHS Trust - representatives, internal teams, and external partners.
- Training & Development: Identify training needs and support career development across your teams.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Uphold health, safety and statutory compliance across all service areas.
About You
- Essential: Proven experience managing Soft FM services specifically within a healthcare environment. Experience within mental health hospital settings is highly advantageous.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with a focus on engagement, performance and development.
