Operations Manager - Construction

Our client is a well-established construction contractor specialising in refurbishment, retrofit, planned maintenance and social housing projects across the Midlands. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Operations Manager to lead the successful delivery of multiple projects while driving operational excellence across the business. This is a senior leadership role, responsible for managing operational teams, supporting Contracts Managers and Site Managers, maintaining client relationships and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Lead the operational delivery of multiple construction, refurbishment and retrofit projects. Manage and support Contracts Managers, Site Managers and project delivery teams. Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and key stakeholders. Monitor project performance, programme, quality and commercial performance. Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies. Drive continuous improvement across operational processes and project delivery. Work closely with the commercial team to support project profitability and financial performance.
