The Role

As Operations Manager, you will work closely with senior leadership to oversee daily operations, optimise internal processes, and ensure exceptional service delivery across the organisation.

You''ll play a pivotal role in coordinating departments, improving productivity, and ensuring the business continues to operate efficiently as it grows.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operational activities across multiple business functions.
• Develop, implement and improve operational processes to increase efficiency.
• Monitor business performance through KPIs, reporting and operational metrics.
• Lead, mentor and support operational teams to achieve business objectives.
• Coordinate internal resources to ensure projects and customer commitments are delivered successfully.
• Work collaboratively with Sales, Technical, Service Delivery and Customer Success teams.
• Identify opportunities for automation, innovation and continuous improvement.
• Assist with forecasting, resource planning and operational budgeting.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and industry best practice.
• Support senior management with strategic planning and business improvement initiatives.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in an Operations Manager, Senior Operations, or similar leadership role.
• Strong organisational and project management skills.
• Experience managing, motivating and developing teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong analytical skills with experience producing operational reports and KPI analysis.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business management systems.
• Previous experience within an IT, technology, MSP or technical services environment is highly desirable.

Desirable

• Experience implementing operational improvements or business transformation projects.
• Understanding of managed service delivery or technical operations.
• Knowledge of ISO standards or quality management systems.
• Prince2, Lean, Six Sigma or similar operational improvement qualifications.
