Responsibilities and duties of the Operations Manager roleReporting to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for: The overall safe and efficient operation of the plantThe day-to-day leadership of circa 20 operations staff including shift teams and operations day staffEnsuring the power station operates and complies within environmental regulations at all timesLiaising with the Maintenance Manager and other relevant personnel regarding projects, maintenance, outages, costing and programming of plant improvementsThe day-to-day monitoring of plant efficiency and directing the operations staff to optimise the power station accordinglyPreparing the annual budget for the Operations department for review and work within this budgetCarry out annual performance reviews with operations staffProfessional qualificationsWe are looking for someone with the following: Ideally having a HNC minimum qualification in an engineering ..... full job details .....
