Roemex are looking for an Operations Engineer to be the focal point for all aspects of the client sales process for our production chemical & renewables business.

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week

We are looking for an Operations Engineer to be the focal point for all aspects of the client sales process for our production chemical & renewables business. From attaining the enquiry, through technical support, RFQs, tenders, sales order process and aftersales support. The Senior Operations Engineer will deliver the best possible customer service and technical support. A key part of this role will be the interaction with, and support from other business functions to achieve this purpose.

Your Core Responsibilities and Tasks

• Interpret client technical information.
• Compile detailed responses to technical enquiries for clients. Present complex information in a manner that is most appropriate for the audience.
• Recommend appropriate products based on specific client applications.
• When required provide technical support to clients at their offices, at their worksite, or at an offshore location.
• Liaise with Technical, Logistics, Procurement and Manufacturing to ensure client requirements are met.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements / Product Stewardship.
• Ensure that products are delivered on time. If local supply is necessary, this role would oversee and facilitate this entire process, working with international agents or distributors as necessary.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree educated in a Science or Engineering discipline. Proven experience in a similar role will also be considered.
• Knowledge of oilfield chemistry and microbiology would be advantageous.
• Excellent verbal, written, communication & interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple enquiries and deadlines.
• Ability to interpret technical information and prepare detailed client responses.
