Operations Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Operations Engineer to join a growing satellite communications organisation, supporting the deployment, operation and ongoing development of next-generation satellite connectivity solutions. Working closely with Operations, Development and Systems Engineering teams, you will provide advanced technical support for user terminals, troubleshoot complex issues, support software and firmware releases, and help improve system performance across a range of applications. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a background in communications, RF technologies and IP networking to work on technically challenging projects within a rapidly evolving industry. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide Tier 3 operational support for user terminal services, including troubleshooting, debugging and resolving complex technical issues.Plan and test new firmware and software releases across a range of user terminal technologies.Deliver hands-on training on new features and terminal equipment to Operations teams and distribution partners.Collaborate with Development and Systems Engineering teams to identify issues and improve user terminal performance.Investigate and reproduce reported technical issues in collaboration with equipment vendors.Create and maintain technical documentation covering operational standards, procedures and processes.Support the installation, configuration and deployment of user terminals.Work directly with distribution partners to ..... full job details .....
