The role focuses on maximising plant availability, carrying out maintenance and fault-finding activities, supporting commissioning of new assets, and ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental standards. Key Responsibilities Operate, maintain and troubleshoot reciprocating gas engine power generation equipment. Ensure safe and efficient plant operation in line with operating procedures and OEM guidance. Maximise plant availability and respond to breakdowns to minimise downtime. Carry out inspections, repairs, reporting and maintenance record management. Identify, resolve and escalate technical and safety issues as required. Liaise with the operations team regarding plant performance and availability. Supervise contractors and support site activities during commissioning and handover of new projects.
