Operations Director Annual Salary: £70,000 - £100,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance Location: South East (Robertsbridge area) Job Type: Full-time An established and growing distribution business is seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead operational performance across a multi-site network in the South East. This senior leadership role involves overseeing warehousing, transport, inventory, customer service, and continuous improvement, reporting directly to the Managing Director. You will play a crucial role in shaping operational strategy while ensuring day-to-day excellence across the business. Day-to-day of the role: Lead operational performance across warehousing, distribution, and supply chain functions. Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with business growth plans. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across productivity, service, and cost control. Build, mentor, and develop operational leadership teams. Manage budgets, KPIs, and operational reporting. Champion health and safety, compliance, and best practice. Work closely with commercial and senior leadership teams to support profitable growth. Required Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in an Operations Director, Head of Operations, General Manager, or Regional Operations leadership role. Strong background within distribution, building materials, merchanting, logistics, or supply chain environments.
