The Brook Street Social Care Operations Director is a key leadership role, sitting on the Senior Leadership Team, accountable for delivering this value across their business area by leading and executing the brand plan, and by inspiring and enabling their teams to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for strategic growth leading the branch network to own our chosen skills in local markets and open new clients and scaling locations
  • Operational accountability for the Social Care branch network through representation on the Skill Specialist senior leadership team
  • Accountable for the execution of the brand plan on B2C2B strategy
  • Ownership of branch network P&L working proactively with Heads of Region to deliver budget and the operational metrics outlined in the brand plan
  • Through influence and collaboration, develop capability in the branch network, including sales, candidate experience and technology adoption and value realisation
  • Accelerate ManpowerGroup position as a market leader in our defined specialisms through networking, thought leadership and Social Value programmes
  • Inspire and motivate a high performing branch network, through clear communication, coaching and transformation
  • Responsible for the talent development of the operation to improve succession planning and performance

Role Focus

  • Anticipate the Market using Data & Insight
  • Stay on top of market trends to identify new business opportunities & risks
  • Interpret the ''so what'' from financial data to spot themes and anticipate future trends
  • Achieve a high degree of predictability in forecasting on financials and project outcomes
  • Work with Heads of Region to embed and drive identified specialisms

Manage P&L. Translate Strategy into Plans

  • Manage and grow the Branch Network P&L across multiple teams, regions & verticals
  • Localise the UK brand strategy and Ecosystem and drive its execution. Translate complex information into simple ideas and plans
  • Drive focus on the top strategic initiatives that will achieve the greatest impact
  • Maintain and evolve structures, governance, resources and measurement to drive top strategic initiatives
  • Drive the Branch Network Operations enabling business growth at an optimal cost, agility and operational excellence that transforms the business to growths and profitability

Drive Focus on the Candidate & Client

  • Sponsor Heads of Region to create and drive a best-in-class candidate experience
  • Build & maintain high standards of internal processes designed with the client/ candidate at the centre
  • Elevate the existing value proposition to be candidate / skills led and drive significant growth
  • Create and maintain partnership relationships with SLT and group peers, establishing effective communication and collaboration channels.

  • Communicate to audiences in a compelling way that inspires & resonates
  • Create a high-performance culture that continues to drive growth and transform the business
