Operations Director

A long-established main contractor with a strong reputation for delivering projects across a range of sectors is looking to appoint an experienced Operations Director as part of the continued development of the business.The company has a well-established presence across the region and delivers a varied portfolio of construction projects, working with a mix of public and private sector clients. With a strong pipeline of work and several key frameworks and repeat client relationships, the business has built a solid position within the Northwest construction market.The RoleProvide strategic and operational leadership across the construction function.Lead and manage Contracts Managers, and operational teams.Oversee the performance of multiple projects, ensuring programmes, quality, health and safety and delivery targets are achieved.Ensure projects are appropriately resourced and effectively managed from pre-construction through to completion.Provide clear direction and support to the operational team, ensuring consistency across project delivery.Work closely with Commercial, Design and Pre-Construction teams to ensure projects are properly planned and set up for delivery.Review construction programmes, methodologies and delivery strategies.Monitor operational performance and identify areas for improvement across the business.Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and other key stakeholders.Report regularly to the board members on operational ..... full job details .....
