Location: Chessington, KT6
Salary: -30,000
Type: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Saturday on a shift basis. Shifts range from 6am-9pm, with a minimum of two Saturdays per month. You must be available for all shift patterns.
20 days annual leave + UK public holidays.
We are looking for an organised and proactive Operations Coordinator to join our growing team within an established international courier company.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and plan customer orders and deliveries.
- Communicate with customers regarding shipments and updates.
- Resolve operational issues including delays, breakdowns and rescheduling.
- Ensure drivers and security staff follow SOPs and security procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and updates on our Transport Management System.
- Liaise with UK stations and international partners.
- Support continuous improvement and next-day delivery preparation.
About You
- Previous transport, logistics or operations experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Good IT and Microsoft Office skills.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Flexible, proactive and able to work independently.
- French speaking is an advantage.
