Operations Coordinator - Freight and Logistics

We are looking for an organised and proactive Operations Coordinator to join a growing freight forwarding and logistics team based in Bingham. This is a varied, fast-paced role where you''ll take responsibility for coordinating customer shipments from start to finish, primarily across Air and Sea Freight. You''ll work closely with customers, transport providers, warehouses, suppliers and internal teams to ensure shipments run smoothly and any issues are resolved quickly. Location: BinghamSalary: £30,000 - £35,000Working Pattern: Hybrid working (after training period)Benefits: 25 days holiday On-site parking Hybrid working Quarterly Bonus Scheme The Role Coordinating Air and Sea Freight shipments from start to finish. Monitoring shipments and ensuring goods are delivered on time. Acting as a key point of contact for customers, providing proactive updates. Resolving delays, customs holds, missed collections and other operational issues. Preparing and checking shipping and customs documentation. Liaising with transport providers, warehouses, suppliers and internal teams. Maintaining accurate information within logistics systems. Handling customer queries and resolving disputes. Identifying opportunities to improve operational processes and efficiency. About You Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple shipments and deadlines.
