Operating a 24/7 day a week service, core hours are Monday to Friday 8-5 with on call rota every 2nd weekend Daily duties include: * Taking incoming telephone and email bookings from clients * Managing and allocating work to drivers * Allocating the correct and most cost-efficient vehicle from the fleet * Assigning jobs to sub-contractors and management from start to finish * Liaising with haulage subcontractors daily to ensure service requirements are met * Ensuring all planning duties are completed each day. * Monitoring and recommending improvements in the traffic office * Seeing all jobs through to completion In order to apply you will have * Experience of working in a busy traffic office, allocating work * Same day/ next day experience...
