Operations Assistant Carnforth Temp-to-Perm £13.50 per Hour 30/40 Hours per Week Are you looking for a hands-on role with the opportunity to secure a permanent position? We''re recruiting for 2 Operations Assistant to join a growing food production business based just outside Carnforth. Due to increased demand and continued growth, the business is looking to appoint a permanent member of its team, with the successful candidate initially joining on a temporary basis before transferring to a permanent contract. Having visited the site personally, I was genuinely impressed by the team, the working environment, and the business itself. It''s a friendly, supportive company that produces high-quality food products supplied to major UK retailers, and due to securing additional supermarket contracts, demand for their products has increased significantly. The Role Working across a variety of production and packing areas, you''ll be responsible for: Operating packaging machinery. Placing products into bags and preparing them for packing. Sealing packaged products. Packing finished products into boxes for dispatch. Loading packaging materials into machinery. Stacking and preparing boxes ready for distribution. Rotating between different workstations throughout the day. Supporting the wider team to ensure production targets are achieved.
