- 07:00 – 15:00
- 09:00 – 17:00
- 11:00 – 19:00
- Identifying and resolving operational issues promptly and effectively.
- Coordinating accurate inbound and outbound booking schedules at storage and processing sites.
- Maintaining up-to-date records and documentation.
- Using email and phone communication to resolve issues with internal teams and external partners.
- Rebooking missed loads or transport slots.
- Completing administrative tasks to support smooth logistics operations.
- Escalating issues to the relevant coordinator or team lead for follow-up.
- Planning and scheduling transport loads from external storage sites to central facilities.
- Managing recall processes from off-site storage to processing locations.
- Updating schedules, booking collections/deliveries, and maintaining regular communication with transport providers.
- Monitoring transport progress to ensure timely collections, transit, and deliveries.
- Meeting and maintaining service level agreements and performance targets (KPIs).
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with customers and third-party logistics providers.
- Ensuring timely and effective customer service and query resolution.
- Communicating any operational concerns to supervisors for follow-up.
- Supporting UK and European transport teams with operational planning.
- Participating in carrier performance reviews and performance reporting.
- Completing handovers when shifts rotate or responsibilities transfer.
- Supporting team operations with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and service excellence.
- Promoting adherence to best practices and driving continuous improvement.
- Background in supply chain operations, preferably in a retail-focused environment.
- Previous experience in office-based administration.
- Knowledge of transport and logistics operations (preferred).
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Proven customer service and relationship-building experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Excel, Outlook).
- Understanding of international or European logistics operations, particularly asset-free models (desirable).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
