Operations Administrator | Nottingham | up to £32,000 plus bonus

As an Operations Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating the movement of goods by air and sea, monitoring shipments and ensuring on-time delivery
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, proactively managing updates, delays, and resolutions
  • Preparing and checking shipping documentation to keep operations running without delay
  • Liaising with internal teams and external partners including transport providers, warehouses, and suppliers
  • Inputting and maintaining accurate data across logistics systems
  • Identifying process improvements and supporting the implementation of new ways of working

As an Operations Administrator, your experience will include:

  • Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a fast-paced operations environment (air and/or ocean freight preferred but not essential)
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a confident, professional approach to clients
  • High attention to detail when processing documentation such as invoices and customs forms
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • A positive, self-motivated attitude with a genuine drive to learn and grow
