Operations Administrator
Location: Stoke, ST1
Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 2:30pm
Pay Rate: £12.93 per hour
We are currently recruiting for an Operations Administrator to join one of our well-established clients based in Stoke. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented individual looking to join a busy operations team in a varied administrative role.
The Role
As an Operations Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting both the Warehouse and Transport departments, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of operations through accurate administration and data management.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collating warehouse statistics and KPI reports
- Managing fleet administration, including vehicle safety checks, fuel cards and insurance requests
- Processing weekly warehouse and transport consumable orders
- Carrying out weekly consumable stock checks
- Inputting and maintaining accurate information on the ERP system
- Filing and distributing Risk Assessments (RA), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs)
- Maintaining and updating SOP documentation
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous administration experience, ideally within a warehouse, logistics or transport environment
- Strong IT and computer skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and organisational skills
- The ability to work well under pressure and prioritise workloads
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- A proactive, hard-working and customer-focused attitude
- A willingness to identify and suggest process improvements
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English, Maths and IT
- Monday to Friday working hours – no weekends
- Part-time hours (9:30am – 2:30pm)
