My Walsall based Manufacturing and Distribution company are looking for an Operations Administrator to join their team on a full time and permanent basis.
You will be responsible for:-
- Carrying out company operations administration across any / all activities
- Involvement in development and evolution of processes to improve administration performance and output
- Liaise with customers/suppliers regarding issues with transport on or off site working to find a commercially sound resolution.
- Construct and maintain conversion project files.
- Produce conversion / modular invoices and arrange transport and customer payments as necessary.
- Process customer card payments over the phone.
- Order basic stock items and update goods received onto system
- Liaise with depot to create/maintain sound processes for sales jobs and releases.
- Deal with all invoice queries in collaboration with purchase ledger.
- Assist in all administration duties required for month and year end.
- Complete CIFS in timely manner always looking for improvements.
- Assist with estimates from suppliers and raise invoices as necessary or forward for a claim.
- Complete letters of authority on system and act accordingly.
- Update all sales analysis spreadsheets where necessary.
- Setting up customer bookings on the system.
- Pack and arrange delivery of padlocks and shrouds.
Key Skills:-
- Essential you have worked within a similar role previously and have strong administration skills
- Excellent communication skills to be able to speak with customers and suppliers over the telephone
- Confident in all Microsoft packages and other Departmental software.
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to drive processes through but constantly seeking opportunities to improve them.
- Build and maintaining customer and supplier relationships
