Operations Accounts Administrator
Premier Work Support are currently assisting a freight provider with the recruitment of a permanent Operations Accounts Administrator in the Basildon area.As the Operations Accounts Administrator you will be working closely with the European Services Manager, UK Head of Finance and the senior management team. This role would suit a person with some understanding of a logistics/transport environment and invoicing and finance matters.Key Responsibilities include: Administration and data entry on the company internal operations system "L Base"Passing haulier and agents Invoice''sWorking closely with the operational teams in Road Freight and Air and OceanWorking closely with the Finance team to resolve issues involving invoicesQuerying issues on invoices with operational staff across various departmentsLiaising with hauliers and suppliers when issues ariseCompletion of supplier formsAdding supplier costs on to "L Base"Sending out supplier formsAny other task that is deemed necessary to undertake the roleAssisting the European teams with day-to-day tasks as and when requiredKey skills required:Confidence in communication methods, in person, phone and emailConfident talking to external suppliers and those where English is not their first languageExcellent attention to detailAn understanding of Operations in a logistics/transport environment is preferableAbility to understand finance matters such as invoicing and have the confidence to challenge and query incorrect data entries ..... full job details .....
