Operational Risk Manager Salary: £47,189 - £55,516 pa Location: Birmingham - Hybrid - 2 days working from our Birmingham office, 3 days from home Contract: Fixed-term contract - Maternity cover up to 8 October 2027 Hours: Full-time This is an opportunity for an experienced Operational Risk Manager to provide support and assist the Head of Risk Management and Internal Audit in managing processes for developing strategic and operational risk management functions. This is a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. About the role: - Manage the monthly update, review and quality assurance process of Operational Risk Registers across all directorates.- Produce Operational Risk Register (ORR) summary reports to the ELT on a quarterly basis, whilst also supporting and discussing current and emerging risks and issues with Executive Directors, Associate Directors and Heads of departments to ensure identified risks are complete and accurate and challenging and influencing operational risk owners.- Successfully undertake Programme/Project Risk QA activities.- Advise business managers and Programme/Project sponsors on the development of project risk registers and attend Risk and Oversight Group meetings.- Deliver 4Risk software training to centralise risk management processes and lead on 4Risk software support.- Monitor risk mitigations against plans and seek updates and assurance that risk owners are managing risk appropriately, whilst collaborating with stakeholders to identify ..... full job details .....
