About the Role
This temporary Operational Prison Support role with Manpower UK is based at HMP Bristol, working 37 hours weekly, Monday to Friday. Pay reaches £13.45 hourly, rising to £23.54 with overtime. The postholder manages gate entry and exit, conducts searches, escorts contractors, vehicles and prisoners, monitors CCTV and reports suspicious behaviour. Duties also include processing visitors, overseeing mail censorship, assisting with prisoner processing and food delivery. Applicants should demonstrate vigilance, integrity, strong communication and the ability to follow strict security procedures within a custodial setting. Full training and support are provided for the successful candidate.
