Responsibilities

• Accept and transfer of hazardous waste between landfills and treatment facilities.
• Monitor incoming materials, ensuring compliance.
• Communicate non-confirming waste streams and liaise with staff members to ensure proper transfer.
• Responsible for housekeeping duties, such as regular stock checks and reporting any changes to the Pad supervisors.
• Responsible for administrative tasks, such as data logging and maintaining production records.

Essential criteria

• Degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• An interest in sustainability, waste management and hazardous waste handling.
• Client-focused, be articulate in verbal and written communication.
• Able to carry out physical field work under various weather conditions.
• Be adaptable to unexpected operational changes, while keeping processes efficient.

Desirable

• Forklift licence
