OpenShift EngineerJob DescriptionWe are supporting one of our largest UK clients to onboard multiple OpenShift Platform Engineer''s to join their team on a contract basis. This role focuses on the engineering, support, and improvement of their enterprise OpenShift platform. The successful candidate will be hands-on, technically strong, and proactive, with a DevOps mindset to improve platform reliability, performance and user experience. This is an INSIDE IR35 contract and will be working FULLY REMOTE on a rolling 6 month contract. Day-to-day ResponsibilitiesManage and support Red Hat OpenShift clusters.Provide day-to-day operational support, engineering and design for the OpenShift platform.Implement and enhance automation processes.Maintain and improve platform reliability, observability, and resilience using SRE principles.Contribute to incident, problem, and change management processes in line with regulated environment standards.Key SkillsProven experience managing OpenShift platforms.experience working with VMware/virtualised infrastructure.experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform.Competence in at least one Scripting/programming language.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling.Nice to have''sExposure to SRE practices.experience with monitoring and logging tools.Familiarity with hybrid or multi-cloud environments.Knowledge of security best practices in container platforms.Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
