OpenShift Administration
Key Responsibilities: 1. KVM Administration: o Manage and maintain KVM-based virtualization environments, including provisioning, monitoring, and troubleshooting virtual machines. o Optimize KVM performance and ensure high availability of virtualized infrastructure. Implement security best practices for KVM environments. 2. OpenShift Administration: o Deploy, configure, and manage OpenShift clusters in on-premises and hybrid cloud environments. Monitor and troubleshoot OpenShift workloads, ensuring high availability and performance. o Manage OpenShift networking, storage, and security configurations. Perform upgrades and patching of OpenShift clusters and associated components. 3. Monitoring and Optimization: o Implement monitoring solutions for KVM and OpenShift environments using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack. o Analyze system performance and recommend optimizations for resource utilization and cost efficiency. 4. Collaboration and Documentation: o Work closely with development, DevOps, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure and applications. o Document infrastructure designs, processes, and best practices for internal knowledge sharing. To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: 1. 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with a focus on KVM virtualization and OpenShift administration. 2.
