Onsite Photocopier Service Engineer - Leicester

We are seeking an experienced site based Photocopier engineer to join a busy technical services team. This role requires a hands-on engineering with installation, configuration, optimisation, and ongoing maintenance of HP and Xerox print environments .
 

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and optimise HP and Xerox multifunction printers, copiers, and production print devices at customer sites
• Provide break-fix support, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network-related print issues
• Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance
• Produce accurate technical documentation, service reports, and configuration records in line with SLAs  

Experience, Skills & Personal Qualities

• Photocopiers / MFD diagnostics 
• Solid understanding of print servers, networking protocols, Active Directory/LDAP integration, and print queue management
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, service bulletins, and diagnostic tools
• Excellent customer-facing communication skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a field team

Desirable Qualifications

• HP 
• Xerox 
• CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent IT certification
