Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Online GCSE Fashion Tutor to deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned tutoring sessions to secondary school students. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fashion and textiles, teaching experience (preferably at GCSE level), and a commitment to helping students build confidence, skills, and knowledge in the subject.
Requirements:
Degree or equivalent qualification in Fashion, Textiles, Design, or a related field.
Teaching or tutoring experience, ideally at GCSE level.
Strong knowledge of the GCSE Fashion/Textiles curriculum and assessment criteria.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt teaching style to suit different learning needs.
Reliable internet connection and familiarity with online teaching platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Classroom, or similar).
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
Desirable:
QTS or PGCE qualification (not essential).
Experience with multiple exam boards (AQA, Edexcel, OCR).
Familiarity with digital design tools or software used in textiles/fashion education (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CAD for textiles).
