Salary: £85.50 - £92.63 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a nurturing and welcoming school in Abergavenny, where every member of staff is treated as a valued part of the team. The school is looking for a dedicated One to One Teaching Assistant who can contribute positively to this supportive environment.

The school is looking to take on a full-time One to One Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis, primarily working with a child with Down syndrome. The successful One to One Teaching Assistant will provide dedicated one-to-one support while also carrying out general Teaching Assistant duties throughout the school.

The successful One to One Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children on a one-to-one basis
• Experience supporting children with additional learning needs / ALN
• Experience supporting a child with Down syndrome is desirable but not essential
• A nurturing and patient approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• The flexibility to support pupils throughout the school
