One to One SEN Teaching Assistant

The RoleWe are working with a welcoming and supportive primary school seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with additional needs.This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about making a real difference in a child''s educational journey.You will be providing individual support to help the pupil access learning, manage behaviour, and build confidence both academically and socially.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide 1:1 support to a pupil with Special Educational NeedsImplement strategies from the pupil''s EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan)Support learning activities inside and outside the classroomHelp manage behaviour using positive reinforcement techniquesWork closely with the class teacher and SENCOMonitor and report on progressThe Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who:Has experience working with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs)Is patient, resilient, and proactiveHas strong communication skillsCan build positive relationships with pupils and staffHas experience in a school, care, or support setting (preferred)Desirable (but not essential)Experience supporting pupils on a 1:1 basisKnowledge of autism support strategies or behaviour managementRelevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, Team Teach, etc.)What We OfferCompetitive daily payOngoing support from a dedicated consultantOpportunity for long-term or permanent placementAccess to ongoing training and developmentApply NowIf you''re passionate about ..... full job details .....
