On Site Quality Engineer

Site-Based Quality Engineer We are seeking an experienced Site-Based Quality Engineer to support a major energy infrastructure project, ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout construction, installation, testing and handover. Key Responsibilities: Conduct site audits and inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards and contractual requirements. Review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and monitor quality control activities. Manage non-conformances, defects and corrective actions through to closure. Maintain accurate quality records and ensure complete handover documentation. Liaise with clients, subcontractors and project teams to resolve quality issues. Provide regular reports on quality performance, risks and outstanding actions. Key Requirements: Typically 5+ years'' experience in quality assurance within construction or project environments. Recognised Lead Auditor qualification. Experience working within highly regulated industries and major infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of audits, inspections, non-conformance management and quality documentation. National Grid Persons Authorisation or equivalent, where required. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK, including rotational work where necessary.
