Job Title: Older Adults CommunityUmbrella Rate = 38ph Essential Information3-6 month contract to start with but could be extended.Flexible working hours and days.Driver''s license and access to a car is a requirement.Social Work Degree and signed up to SWE. About the Role Connect2Hampshire are currently recruiting for an Older Adults Social Worker to join Hampshire County Councils Older Adults Community teams.For this role, you will be supporting with duty and short term cases by travelling and completing visits and you will need to have an understanding of how to apply a strengths-based approach and have an understanding of social work issues, legal frameworks and social service''s statutory duties. It is also important to be able to build positive and professional relationships. What is the day-to-day of the role: Conduct comprehensive assessments of individual''s needs, strengths, and risks.Triage safeguarding referrals and make decisions.Managing a complex caseload whilst providing supervision for Case Workers and Senior Case Workers.Completing home visits in and around the chosen district.Welfare visits may be required About Us Connect2Hampshire is a managed service agency owned by Hampshire County Council providing temporary, contract and interim opportunities into the Council.
