Due to continued expansion, we are seeking applications from suitably qualified and motivated individuals for an Occupational Health and Safety Environment Officer (Health and Safety) position. The successful applicant will be joining the Health and Safety department and will provide support to two sites Health and Safety function. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all aspects of Health, Safety and Environmental are adhered to. 
• Work closely with the Site Manager and Operations team to achieve site action plans. 
• Monitor and report Key Performance Indicators against targets and advise site team of appropriate/necessary actions required. 
• Liaise with Site Management team in the implementation of sites environmental and safety management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001 etc). 
• Implement company policy at all times i.e. compliance with regulations and permits.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing and experience with changing cultures. 
• Problem solving and Internal audit skills. 
• IOSH Working Safely. 
• Risk Assessment Experience. 
• NEBOSH National certificate. 
• NEBOSH General Environmental Certificate. 
• National Compliance and Risk Qualifications (NCRQ). 
• To be able to prioritise work load. 
• Effective organisational skill.

Salary: £26,000 - £29,500 Per Annum. 

Working hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm. 

This is a Full time, Permanent position.
