OHL Engineer – 1-year contractSt Austell, Cornwall (with travel elsewhere as required)£500 - £550 / day - Inside IR35Responsibilities

As an OHL Engineer, you will be responsible for designing OHL systems, including the selection of structures, conductors, and insulators, developing detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and design documentation using AutoCAD and PLS-CADD, collaborating with stakeholders to integrate design requirements into project plans, conducting site surveys and assessments, performing technical calculations and analysis, ensuring designs are compliant, reviewing and approving design modifications, providing support during construction and quality checking throughout construction.Qualifications

Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or equivalentExperience in overhead line engineering up to 400kExperience on upgrading work projects such as utilisation of High Temperature Low Sag conductorsKnowledge of conducting galloping studies, EMF and Field Effects Calculation, Wake effect, AC Interference for Gas pipelinesExperience using PLS-CADD, POLE and/or TOWERThe ideal characteristics are NOT essentialAbout Fusion People
