The role will involve creating, checking and delivering overhead line designs, ensuring projects are completed safely, accurately, within budget and to agreed timescales. Depending on experience, you will either work as part of a wider design team or take greater ownership of projects, providing technical input and supporting the delivery of complex overhead line schemes. Key Responsibilities Produce and check overhead line designs using industry-standard software, including Power Line Systems (PLS). Produce detailed technical drawings, construction information and design documentation. Consider electrical clearances, structural requirements, geology, maintenance, construction, temporary works and structural modifications/upgrades. Produce and check design inputs and outputs in accordance with statutory requirements, CDM regulations, industry standards and client specifications.
