OFTEC and FGAS Estimator

Are you a technically strong estimator with experience in oil-fired heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems? My client is looking for an OFTEC and F-Gas Qualified Estimator to join their team, based in Peterborough. As an Estimator, you''ll take ownership of pricing and estimating works across the maintenance contracts and project pipeline. You''ll prepare accurate, competitive quotations for planned and reactive works, working closely with operations, project managers, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure pricing is technically sound and commercially viable. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical knowledge, estimating experience, and an eye for detail. Key responsibilities Prepare accurate estimates and quotations for planned and reactive maintenance works, in line with SFG20 planned maintenance guidelines. Price oil-fired heating and air conditioning/refrigeration works, including materials, labour, and subcontractor costs. Review site surveys, drawings, and specifications to produce detailed, competitive pricing. Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain quotations and clarify scope. Update and maintain CAFM systems with accurate job and pricing information. Work closely with helpdesk and operations teams to align quotations with client requirements and contract terms.
