Job Title: Ofsted Registered ManagerLocation: BarnsleySalary: £50,000 - £65,000 per year (depending on experience)Contract: Full-time PermanentAbout the RoleWe are currently recruiting an Ofsted Registered Manager to lead a children''s residential home in Barnsley. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and committed leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of a new home and ensure the highest standards of care for children and young people.The Registered Manager would be responsible for managing a new EBD residential home in Barnsley.The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the home operates in line with Ofsted regulations and the Children''s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards, while creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where young people can thrive.Key ResponsibilitiesRegister with Ofsted as the Registered Manager for the children''s residential home.Ensure the home operates in full compliance with Children''s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.Provide strong leadership and management to the residential care team.Promote a positive, safe, and nurturing environment for children and young people.Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures.Lead staff recruitment, training, and performance management.Manage budgets, resources, and day-to-day operational requirements of the home.Work collaboratively with local authorities, social workers, and external professionals.Prepare for and manage Ofsted ..... full job details .....
