Offshore Instrument Technician

NES Fircroft are currently recruiting Instrumentation Technicians on behalf of a leading Oil and Gas operator to work on their offshore assets in the UK North Sea.This is an excellent opportunity to join an established operator on an initial 12-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension.Contract DetailsDuration: Initial 6 month contract, highly likely to be extendedRotation: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks offWorking Hours: 12-hour shiftsMobilisation Location: NorwichTravel: 45p per mile for mobilisation travel, both ways, or economy travelAccommodation: Hotel accommodation provided the night before mobilisation, if requiredPay: PAYE day rateKey ResponsibilitiesWork as part of a multi-skilled team of technicians and operations personnel to safely operate and maintain offshore processing facilities in line with operational and maintenance procedures.Support plant availability and the safe, efficient processing of gas received from offshore fields.Plan and carry out preventative maintenance tasks to the required standards, minimising disruption to production.Complete maintenance work orders using Maximo and raise new work requests to report plant or equipment faults.Provide technical support for projects, working with vendors and subcontractors as required.Manage spares and test gases to support the testing and calibration of gas monitoring equipment.Carry out maintenance and testing of instrumentation and safety-critical equipment.Ensure all Health, Safety and Environmental ..... full job details .....
