Offshore ECandI and Cyber Security Engineer Closing date 2nd November Salary: £73,335 £77,003 + offshore supplement of up to £10,000 Location: Aberdeen / Hybrid other UK locations available Contract: Permanent, Full Time We are seeking an experienced Offshore ECandI Engineer with strong expertise in control and instrumentation, functional safety and OT/industrial cyber security to join a specialist technical and regulatory team. This is a senior technical role focused on the assessment and management of major hazard risks within the offshore oil and gas / petrochemical sector. You will provide expert technical input across safety cases, inspections, investigations and safety-critical systems. Essential experience Applicants must have substantial experience in: Electrical, Control and Instrumentation (ECandI) engineering within an offshore oil and gas, petrochemical or other major-hazard environment. OT / industrial cyber security, including knowledge of relevant principles, standards and the protection of safety-critical control systems. Functional safety, including practical experience with Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and IEC 61511. Safety case assessment and/or development, including reviewing technical demonstrations of major accident hazard controls. HAZOP / hazard identification and risk assessment within major-hazard industries. Assessing the adequacy of safety-critical systems and major accident hazard controls.
